Neste is the world’s largest producer of sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel. Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel™ (Neste MY SAF™) is a proven and safe alternative to fossil jet fuel, made from sustainably sourced 100% renewable waste and residue raw materials. Neste has been producing SAF since 2011 and it is used by many leading commercial airlines and cargo carriers.

Neste MY SAF is produced using the HEFA-technology but Neste is also innovating new SAF production technologies focusing on promising new feedstocks, such as algae oil and lignocellulosics, and power to liquid fuels.

Purchasing SAF through the Neste x CargoAi partnership enables freight forwarders to support SBTi Scope 3 targets through a Book-and-Claim approach. Neste’s 3rd party end-to-end verification ensures credible and reportable reductions and prevents double claiming.

This partnership makes CargoAi the first and only digital solutions provider in the airfreight industry to offer SAF for every Air Waybill (AWB) booking, regardless of carrier or departure airport. This is currently not available with any other cargo procurement marketplace, digital or otherwise.
