What's new at a glance
AI Assistant
Two improvements to the CargoMART AI Assistant this month, making interactions faster and giving you more control over your requests.
Faster responses and improved loading feedback
The AI Assistant now displays its "AI is thinking" indicator almost immediately after you send a message, so you know your request is being processed.
Behind the scenes, response handling has also been optimized to reduce waiting times and deliver answers more efficiently.
Get immediate feedback when submitting a request and spend less time waiting for the AI Assistant to respond.
Editable quick prompts
Quick prompts in the AI Assistant are now easier to customize.
Instead of automatically sending a predefined request when you click a quick prompt, CargoMART now inserts an editable template into the chat input.
Simply replace the placeholders with your own information, such as origin, destination, or departure date, and send the completed request when you're ready.
Use ready-made prompts without losing control over your query. Add the details that matter to your shipment before sending, reducing unnecessary follow-up questions.
Open the AI Assistant in CargoMART and select any available quick prompt to customize it.
Rate Management System
This month's RMS improvements introduce more detailed surcharge management, broader contract rate visibility, and additional information in downloaded rate sheets.
New minimum surcharge fields
The RMS now supports three additional optional minimum surcharge fields: MIN FSC, MIN IRC, and MIN RFS.
These fields are available in the rate upload template and RMS interface, alongside their corresponding FSC, IRC, and RFS charges.
In Accordion view, minimum surcharge columns are automatically hidden when no values are available. In Table view, the new columns are hidden by default but can be enabled through the column picker.
Existing rate files without these fields continue to work as usual.
Manage minimum surcharge requirements more accurately without complicating your existing rate files. Display only the pricing information you need while keeping your rate views clear and organized.
Worldwide contract rate visibility
Offices with Worldwide Rate Access enabled can now view eligible Contract and ContractPromo rates across all origin countries, rather than being limited to rates originating from their own country.
Visibility continues to follow IATA and IATA-CASS matching rules, ensuring that rates are only accessible to authorized offices.
Offices without Worldwide Rate Access are unaffected.
Access eligible contract rates across a broader network without being restricted by your office's origin country, making it easier to manage international pricing opportunities.
Terms & Conditions included in rate sheet downloads
Downloaded rate sheets now include your office's configured Terms & Conditions.
CargoMART automatically retrieves the default Terms & Conditions from your office settings and adds them as a clearly identified section, separate from the rate information.
If no Terms & Conditions have been configured, the rate sheet downloads as usual.
Share rate sheets with the relevant commercial terms already included, reducing manual document preparation and helping ensure customers receive consistent information.
Configure your Terms & Conditions under Company & Office Settings → Quotation → T&Cs. The default terms are automatically included when downloading a rate sheet.
Quotation
Two improvements to quotation management this month, making it easier to find customer quotes and share more professional quotation documents.
Customer filter in Shipper Quote Status
The Shipper Quote Status page now includes a Customer filter, replacing the previous Commodity filter.
Customer information is retrieved directly from your CRM database, allowing you to search by customer name and select multiple customers from a searchable dropdown.
The filter works alongside the existing Origin, Destination, and Airline filters and displays the number of unique customers available.
Find and review quotations for specific customers more easily, especially when managing multiple accounts or tracking quotation activity across different routes and airlines.
Go to Shipper Quote Status and use the new Customer filter.
Redesigned quotation preview and PDF
The quotation preview and downloadable PDF have been refreshed with a cleaner, more structured design in both English and French.
The updated layout includes a redesigned header, more prominent origin and destination IATA codes, clearer shipment information, improved airline schedule presentation, and a new navy and teal color scheme.
Forwarder and customer details are now displayed in simplified sections, while local charges appear under the updated heading "Local Services And Charges".
Pagination has also been improved to ensure quotations remain easy to read across multiple pages.
Present customers with clearer, more professional quotations that highlight essential shipment, routing, and pricing information.
Continue through the quotation creation flow to Step 5 to preview or download your quotation PDF.
Local Charges
Three improvements to local charge management this month, giving you better visibility into office contact details, shipment-level charges, and expired pricing.
Office contact details in Local Charges Explore
The Local Charges Explore tab now displays additional contact information directly on each forwarder or office card.
When available, email addresses, phone numbers, and postal addresses appear beneath the existing office information.
Only populated fields are displayed, keeping each card clear and easy to read.
Find the contact information you need without opening individual office profiles or navigating away from the Local Charges Explore page.
Go to Local Charges → Explore. Contact details appear automatically on office cards when available.
Detailed local charges on shipment pages
A new "Charges Details" section is now available on the shipment details page.
Applicable local charges are organized by Origin Airport and Destination Airport, giving you a clearer breakdown of the costs associated with each shipment.
The collapsed view displays each charge name and total cost. Expanding a charge reveals additional information, including buying rate, selling rate, unit of measure calculations, and minimum or maximum values.
CargoMART automatically identifies applicable charges based on office, airport, charge type, validity dates, and shipment characteristics.
Review the local charges associated with a shipment in one place, with a clearer breakdown of buying and selling costs for more transparent shipment management.
Open a shipment's details page and expand the Charges Details section.
Automatic exclusion of expired local charges
Local charges with a Valid Till date in the past are now automatically treated as expired.
In My Local Charges, expired entries appear visually dimmed, with the expiration date highlighted in red and an "Expired" tooltip.
These charges are no longer selectable or automatically applied in the Quotation, Shipments, or Rates modules.
Avoid applying outdated local charges to new quotations, shipments, or rate calculations. Your pricing workflows automatically exclude charges that are no longer valid.
Search Enhancements
Two updates to the CargoMART search experience this month, making route information easier to navigate and allowing you to save frequently used search preferences.
Route Details now opens on click
The Route Details panel on the search results page now opens when you click a rate, rather than when you hover over it.
Clicking another rate switches the panel to the newly selected option, while clicking outside closes it.
This improvement applies to both List and Grid views.
Compare routing information without panels unexpectedly opening or switching as you move your mouse across search results.
Save your Stackable and Screened preferences
Two new options, Stackable and Screened, are now available under Search Defaults in your Personal Settings.
Once enabled, your preferences are automatically applied to every new search, so you don't need to select the same options repeatedly.
Saved search templates continue to take priority over your default preferences when used.
Save time on repetitive search settings and start each new search with your preferred shipment requirements already selected.
Go to Personal Settings → Preferences → Account Settings → Search Defaults.
Allotment — More flight options when retrying bookings
Expanded flight selection for failed allotment bookings
When retrying a failed allotment booking, CargoMART now displays all available flight options instead of limiting your selection to the flights originally included in your uploaded allotment file.
The retry experience now follows the same flight selection approach used when modifying a booking.
Find alternative flights more easily when an allotment booking fails, without being restricted to your original upload or having to restart the process.
Booking & Cancellation — Clearer cancellation feedback
Improved error messages for failed cancellations
When a booking cancellation request fails or is rejected by an airline, CargoMART now displays a clear "Cancellation failed" message directly in the cancellation modal.
When available, the airline's rejection reason is included, along with an option to contact support.
The booking status remains unchanged, and the cancellation button becomes available again so you can retry.
Understand why a cancellation did not go through, avoid uncertainty about your booking status, and quickly decide whether to retry or contact support.
Interline
Two improvements to Interline booking management this month, providing more consistent shipment visibility and greater flexibility in AWB handling.
AWB reuse across interline bookings
Interline bookings can now use the same AWB number across multiple partner airlines within a single itinerary.
Each flight leg continues to appear as a separate booking in Shipment History, while the shared AWB number remains valid across the interline journey.
This change applies specifically to Interline bookings. Existing AWB reuse restrictions for forwarder bookings remain unchanged.
Manage multi-airline interline itineraries without unnecessary AWB restrictions, while maintaining visibility into each individual booking leg.
All interline bookings visible in Shipment History
Airlines using the Interline module can now view all their bookings directly in Shipment History, regardless of confirmation status.
Previously, interline bookings awaiting confirmation appeared on the Quotes page. These bookings are now displayed alongside other interline shipments in a single location.
Forwarder booking behavior remains unchanged.
Track interline bookings from pending confirmation onward without switching between Quotes and Shipment History.
