Introducing the latest edition of CargoAi’s airline updates for September 2023!
Every month our airline portfolio keeps expanding, whether via new carriers or existing ones expanding their scope. Here we highlight all the latest updates that you can now book immediately – for forwarders using any of our booking solutions – CargoMART, CargoGATE or via API on CargoCONNECT.
Avianca has expanded its scope out of LAX and YYZ to various countries in Latin America and Spain. These are the new destinations available for the forwarders based in LAX or YYZ respectively:
From early October, forwarders in the following locations can now book GCR bookings ≤ 3000kg/20m3: Germany, Great Britain, Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey. This is an increase from the 1 ton current limit.
Forwarders in the following Tier 1 and Tier 2 Stations can now make eBookings for Pharma on Qatar Airways' Cargo.
Tier 1:
Station equipped with both +2°C to +8°C & +15°C to +25°C temperature controlled storage. Able to handle active electronic containers and active dry ice containers.
Tier 2:
Station has one of the two controlled storage ranges (+2°C to +8°C OR +15°C to +25°C). Limited capacity to handle specific types of temperature controlled containers.
All CargoMART users should take note that all GCR bookings <2500kg placed offline or via QR staff will attract a 17 USD fee for manual booking fee.
Forwarders can now book under allotment if there is an allotment in their system linked to their IATA Cass, and O&D. When a forwarder makes a regular search, Air Canada will return an ALO (allotment) rate and ALO code that will be displayed on the shipment confirmation page. The booking is placed using this code, using the customer's allotted capacity.
All French forwarders will be pleased to know that Dangerous Goods can now be booked on DHL (QY), Condor (SS) & Royal Air Maroc (AT).
After a successful pilot, ECS will roll it out to other stations. We are also working on the functionality to allow users to upload DGD documents in PDF and Word.
All the above airline updates are generally available to CargoMART and CargoCONNECT users with IATA Cass Numbers. If you activate your WALLET these following additional routes are open to you.
Freight forwarders worldwide who have both a CargoMART account and their WALLET activated with funds to cover their Total Freight Cost can make import bookings to/from the following locations, regardless of where they are based.
Forwarders will also be pleased to know we have developed a AWB Stock management system when booking through these airlines out of these locations, where there is no auto-AWB.
If you do not have an IATA Cass Number, take advantage of our Import Booking Network and pay with your activated WALLET.
Every month, we continue to expand our network through strategic relationships and product enhancements. If you have any questions about a particular route or product type, please don’t hesitate to contact your dedicated Customer Success Manager.
