CargoMART Product Release Notes – November 2025
Introducing November's edition of CargoMART's product release notes!!
This month's updates make it easier to quote, book, manage allotments, track charge validity, and stay connected with your freight networks — all in one place. Here's what's new:
"Quote & Book" Enhancement
What's new:
The search section now gives users two clear options --- "Quote" and "Quote & Book."
- "Quote & Book" takes you to the standard search results page once all shipment details (Origin, Destination, Date, and Shipment Details) are entered.
- "Quote" is a brand-new button that takes you directly to the RMS Compare Rate page.
The Compare Rate page is automatically pre-filled with:
- Origin and Destination
- Commodity
- (If available) Pieces, Weight, and Volume --- showing only rates that match the shipment's weight break
This update gives users easier access to CargoMART's Rate Management System (RMS) and makes quoting faster and more intuitive. Many users wrongly think CargoMART is "for booking only" --- we want to shift that perception by making quoting just as seamless as booking.
Allotment Enhancements
What's new:
A new weekly Allotment Status Update email will now be sent every Monday to forwarders with allotment bookings that require attention.
The email includes bookings in the following statuses: Failed, Booking Requested, Booking Rejected, Cancellation Requested, or Pending Booking Modification --- displayed in the same familiar table layout as your existing summary email.
Additionally, users can now enable or disable this weekly email under User Settings → Allotment Email Notifications for greater control.
Never miss an important booking again. Stay on top of pending or failed allotments with automatic weekly reminders right in your inbox.
News Feed Refresh
What's new:
The News section on the search results page has been redesigned for a better reading experience and faster access to more updates at once.
Key improvements include:
- The categories are displayed at the top of the news section. You can select and filter by clicking on the categories.
- Clicking on any news item now opens a popup window with full news details and links.
Easily explore airline and industry updates without leaving your search --- better design, more news, and faster insights.
Quotation Enhancements
What's new:
Users can now modify any details (except the initial selection of flight) for existing shipper quotes without starting from scratch.
Editable elements include:
- Airport local charges (add, remove, or update)
- Shipment details such as Incoterms, movement type, packing info, MAWB, and HAWB
- Customer details
- Terms & Conditions
- And more!
From any quote, select Modify Quote, which redirects you to Step 5 (Quote Review). There are Edit buttons for all modifyable properties.
Changes are saved only upon confirmation, and a new PDF is automatically generated.
Save time and keep your documents accurate by quickly adjusting airport or shipment details in just a few clicks.
Local Charges Validity Period
What's new:
Local Charges and Sharing Configs now include Start Date and End Date fields to define validity periods. You'll also see a new "Valid Till" column across Explore, My Local Charges, and Sharing Config tables.
Better control over rate timelines and clear visibility into when local charges expire.
Network Tab in Company Settings
What's new:
A new "Networks" tab has been added under Company & Office Settings, allowing you to select the freight forwarding networks your company is part of. Choose from predefined options through a multi-select dropdown.
Easily manage your company's network affiliations for smoother coordination and automatic data consistency. Adding your network via settings also allows us to show you local charges that other members of your network have shared with members of the same network.
