CargoMART Product Release Notes – January 2026

Introducing January's edition of CargoMART's product release notes!

We are starting the new year with a set of updates focused on simplicity, clarity, and control, helping you move faster, find information more easily, and get more value from CargoMART every day. Here's what's new:

CargoMART AI Assistant: Your New Homepage

    What's new

CargoMART now opens with a conversational AI Assistant, a ChatGPT-style interface that is part of your new default homepage.

From this single-entry point, you can naturally ask questions and take actions such as tracking shipments, searching routes and rates, looking up airlines or contacts, creating quotes or starting bookings. All without navigating multiple pages.

    Why it matters:

This experience reshapes how you interact with CargoMART. Instead of searching for features, you simply ask, making the platform more intuitive, faster to use, and easier for both new and experienced users.

Access is being granted on request. If you want to try this new feature, please contact us here.

    Allotment Enhancements

Departure Date Filter in Allotment History

You can now filter allotment records by Departure (1st Leg) Date using presets such as Year to Date (default), This Month, This Quarter, or a Custom date or date range. Clearing the filter shows all records again.

    Why it matters:

Quickly focus on relevant allotments without scrolling through long histories.

    Smarter Allotment File Uploads

The system now checks for missing airline reservation contact emails during file upload. If any airline + origin combination is missing a reservation contact, you'll be prompted to enter it before continuing.

    Why it matters:

Prevents booking request failures before they happen.

Detailed Summary Emails for Each Airline

When uploading allotment files that include multiple airlines, you will now receive a separate email and CSV attachment for each airline. The email will include all relevant details of your allotment requests and will be copied to the forwarder and the airline concerned.

    Why it matters:

Clearer communication and cleaner data sharing per airline.

    Local Charges Improvements

    Reference ID (Internal Use)

A new optional Reference ID field is now available when creating or editing Local Charges. It is displayed in the Local Charges table (before Charge Name) and is internal only, not shared with airlines or APIs.

    Why it matters:

Easier internal tracking and searching without impacting partners.

    Local Charges Reference ID feature

Selling Rate Is No Longer Mandatory

You can now save Local Charges without a Selling Rate. Charges without a Selling Rate appear only in My Local Charges, are excluded from Explore Charges and Sharing Configs, and cannot be shared as yet. Once a Selling Rate is added, normal visibility rules apply.

    Why it matters:

Draft and prepare charges without forcing incomplete data. Simplify quote creation for local charges that are fixed on a case-by-case basis.

    MAWB Enhancement: Phone Extensions

When generating MAWB forms, you can now add a Phone Extension for Shipper, Consignee, and Notify party. The field is optional. We accept numeric values only (up to 6 digits).

    Why it matters:

More accurate contact details for real-world communication needs.

Settings: More Control Over Search Pop-ups

The single on/off toggle for Search Pop-ups has been replaced with three independent controls: Business insights & analytics, Airline marketing campaigns, and CargoMART news & updates. Visibility depends on your subscription plan where applicable.

    Why it matters:

Greater transparency and control over what content you see.

    Other Enhancements

    Missing Customer ID Warning

A new banner on the search results page alerts you when some airlines cannot be displayed due to missing customer IDs. Affected airlines are listed, guidance is provided to contact the concerned airline, and other airline results continue to load normally.

    Historical Rates: Date Filter

The Historical Rates dashboard now includes a Date filter. It defaults to one year before today, allows selection of any available historical date, and results update dynamically.

    Why it matters:

More flexible and accurate historical rate analysis.
