    CargoMART Product Release Notes – August 2025

    This month's release introduces significant updates to CargoMART, including a complete redesign of the Local Charge Module to streamline the way forwarders manage, share, and explore local charges. These updates are aimed at reducing manual effort, improving collaboration with partners, and simplifying the overall user experience.

    Local Charge Module: A New Way to Manage Charges

    A brand-new Local Charge page is now available in the Rate tab, replacing the previous setup in the Quotation Settings page. This new page is divided into three main sections: Explore, My Local Charges, and Sharing Configuration.

    This module is a game changer for forwarders allowing for a seamless way to share charges, this will help improve business potential for partnerships and imports.

    Explore: Easily Access Local Charges Shared by Others (Pro Feature)

    The Explore feature enables CargoMART Pro users to view and compare local charges shared by other forwarders. You can search by Airport or IATA CASS, making it easy to find rates that align with your needs.

    Key Features:

    • Search by Airport Name (auto-complete) or IATA CASS (exact match).
    • View results with company names, logos, IATA CASS, and other relevant details.
    • Easily expand charge tables to see detailed information such as charge names, pricing, and currency converted to the user's default currency.

    Benefits:

    • Transparent access to rates shared by other forwarders, making it easier to compare charges.
    • User-friendly interface that displays rates in the viewer's preferred currency, helping you make informed decisions faster.

    My Local Charges (Free Feature): Simplified Charge Management

    The My Local Charges section offers a complete overhaul of the way users create and edit local charges, with a simplified UI that guides you through the process.

    Key Features:

    • A new table layout for viewing all charges in one place.
    • A step-by-step modal for creating and editing charges (including charge name, pricing, airport, and commodity).
    • Auto-calculation of selling rates based on the markup applied to the buying rate.
    • Multi-airport selection for greater flexibility.

    • Clear validation and guidance throughout the creation process, ensuring accurate charge setup every time.

    Sharing Configuration (Free Feature): Seamless Sharing of Charges

    The Sharing Configuration feature enables you to create and manage sharing profiles for local charges. This makes it easy to define who you share your charges with, including specific offices or groups, and to set the appropriate markups.

    Key Features:

    • Create and view sharing profiles from a dedicated page.
    • Use a simple 4-step wizard to set up sharing configurations (name, target users, airports, and markups).
    • Directly edit or delete sharing configurations from the listing table.
    • Some features (like specific airports and local charge-level markups) are coming soon.

    • Simplifies collaboration between forwarders by allowing seamless sharing of charges with predefined conditions.
    • Customizable sharing options tailored to individual business needs, helping partners work together more efficiently.

    Other Key Updates in This Release

    Express Filter Banner in Search Results

    To improve awareness and avoid confusion, a new banner will now appear when the Express filter is automatically applied in search results.

    Key Features:

    • A banner that reads: "Some flight options may be hidden because Express was selected in your search..."
    • The banner is dismissible and follows design standards to enhance the user experience.

    Increases user awareness of filtered results, helping them explore the full range of available options.

    Airline-Specific Rules and Charges in Search Results and RMS

    Airlines often provide specific rules and charges (e.g., special handling fees, cancellation policies) that are critical for decision-making. This update extracts and displays these details directly in search results and the Rate Management System (RMS).

    Benefits:

    Makes airline-specific charges and conditions easily accessible at the point of search, ensuring forwarders have all the necessary information upfront.

    Exhibit Opening Hours in Shipment Handling

    Ground Handling Agents (GHAs) are now required to list their opening hours in the system.

    Benefits:

    Forwarders can easily see when the GHA is available, which helps with planning cargo drop-off and pick-up.

    New UI for the Airline Rate Sheet

    The Airline Rate Sheet UI has been updated to make it easier for users to view and compare rates from different airlines. When users access the rate sheet, they are now automatically redirected to the Compare Rates page with pre-selected airlines and rate types.

    Streamlines the process of comparing rates from multiple airlines, improving the user experience and saving time.
