CargoMART Airline Updates – August 2023
Introducing the latest edition of CargoMART and CargoCONNECT's airline updates for August 2023! As we continue to integrate more new airlines into CargoMART and CargoCONNECT, and expand the scope of existing ones, we emphasize the great new improvements that you can now book immediately.
New Airlines & Scope Expansion for CargoMART and CargoCONNECT users
Emirates Worldwide Go Live
Our first airline in H2 to go from integration to LIVE worldwide! Emirates SkyCargo connects you to over 140 destinations on CargoMART and CargoCONNECT from 4th September. Read the full details on our press release.
ECS opens new airlines in key countries
For forwarders in the following countries, we are delighted to announce airlines that are immediately bookable thanks to our direct API connection with ECS.
- USA: Air India
- Spain: Azul
- Cancun (new from Mexico): TUI and Condor
Lufthansa Cargo adds new countries
Following a successful pilot, forwarders in 40 origin countries can now access real-time schedules, rates and make instant eBookings on Lufthansa Cargo. Check if your country is on the list on our LinkedIn announcement.
Custom Airline Features
AUTO-AWB with TK
Auto-AWB feature with Turkish Airways Cargo was pushed live at the end of last month. You do need to have pre-allocated stock of AWB allocated in TK's AWB management system (COMIS) in order for this to auto-detect and allocate seamlessly.
Fresh & Pharma with ITA Airways
We now have our second airline, ITA Airways, offering Pharma on CargoMART only, with more major airlines are lined up to offer this in Q3. For ITA, the specifics of the scope are:
- FRESH with COL/ERT/CRT (negative temperatures are out of scope)
- Passive pharma only, for COL/ERT/CRT (no active container)
- Tracking devices are supported
All the above airline updates are generally available to CargoMART and CargoCONNECT users with IATA Cass Numbers. If you activate your WALLET these following additional routes are open to you.
Import Booking Network – No IATA Cass Number Needed
Freight forwarders worldwide who have both a CargoMART account and their WALLET activated with funds to cover their Total Freight Cost can make import bookings to/from the following locations, regardless of where they are based.
4 NEW LOCATIONS
Import Booking Network has now been expanded, where eBookings are possible from Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea to worldwide airports supported by CargoMART, for FF worldwide. This is in addition to USA, France, Germany, Netherlands and China, which are already active locations.
If you do not have an IATA Cass Number, take advantage of our Import Booking Network and pay with your activated WALLET.
